Gastric Bypass or Bulimia?
Two days in a row I have thrown up my lunch. Not because it didn't taste good, not because my stomach rejected it, because sometimes food just doesn't go down. It's annoying to say the least. I am still throwing up about 4-5 times a week. But it was a lot more when I first began eating solid foods. Today the culprit was a meatloaf sandwich. I pulled all the bread off and ate the meat only, still got stuck. I was careful to take small bites but perhaps I was eating too quickly. Who knows. I'm feeling better at the moment but what a waste of a delicious sandwich!

Slow Weight loss
They say the average weight loss at three months for someone who has had this surgery is 50 pounds. I was a little under that. The weight is coming off slowly. More slowly than i expected. I don't know if this is normal or not. it's a question for my surgeon when I see him in a few weeks.
I have lost 52 pounds. I'm losing approximately a pound a week. I mean, sheesh, isn't that what someone can lose without having surgery? But when I think about it, I wasn't losing 1 pound a week before I had the surgery. I was losing NOTHING. I was gaining about a pound a week! Ha!
I just feel that at this rate my 100 pound mark is way further away than I think.
I'm upping my workouts at the gym. Not for longer periods of time but the intensity. I'm hoping that will help some as well.

Below 200
The day arrived.
I am below 200.
I can't remember the last time I saw a 1 for the first number on the scale.
I am so happy today. I'm not all about a number on the scale, but I'm all about this milestone.

Fit to be Tried
I went shopping tonight for the first time since surgery. Real shopping with trying on clothes and everything. First off i went to my old stand-by, Lane Bryant. I grabbed a few things in a 14 and tried them on and they fit. Then I went to Maurices and tried on some dresses in their largest size, the 13/14. Those were all way too small. I was however able to wear a xxl top in the misses size. Then I went to American Eagle and I tried on jeans. I fit into a size 16 in the original boot and they looked great on me. Wahoo! That was an exciting moment.
